NONTON BARENG EVENT WITH CHILDREN OF CANCER PATIENTS

Jakarta, February 27, 2020 – Celebrating the International Childhood Cancer Day that are held on 15 February 2020, Senayan City’s CSR team in collaborating with Cinema XXI creates movie screening event and inviting 30 couples of child of cancer patients and parents that are taken care by Yayasan Kasih Anak Kanker Indonesia (YKAKI) on Thursday, February 27, 2020.

“This moment of nonton bareng has been the annual agenda from Senayan City in showing our care about others around us. In this opportunity, we invite the children who are not really lucky in terms of health. Coincide timeline with International Childhood Cancer Day, Senayan City and Cinema XXI are comforting the children with special movie screening of Playmobil: The Movie. We hope that the children are entertained, encouraged more to fight for their sickness and get healthier,” said Mrs. Elsi Adianti as Customer Relations Manager of Senayan City during her welcoming speech.

Even more, Senayan City invites special guest from The Foundation of Agung Podomoro Land, Mrs. Christie Damayanti, to share about her story. “I was a cancer patient before and I survived to be fully recovered from my illness. Now, I am fully working in a good health every day. I hope the story can be a motivation for you guys (the children) to keep encouraging in fighting the illness and also become the support for the parents to be stronger and tougher.”

After the welcoming speech, the movie is started. The guests are happily enjoying the movie and snack during the screening.
