Jakarta, October 22, 2018 - Senayan City, as the fashion home base, is collaborating with Jakarta Fashion Week (JFW) 2019 starting from 20 – 26 October 2018. The fashion showcases are presented on Fashion Atrium and Fashion Tent JFW2019 during a week. On 22 October 2018, Senayan City X Fashionlink X #Blckvnue is presenting IN.MIND with ready-to-wear Spring / Summer 2019 collections from Bateeq, Raegitazoro, and SAUL at Fashion Atruim 1st floor, Senayan City.

Bring out IN.MIND, the 3 designers represent their ideas into the modern ready-to-wear collections with using the richness of Indonesia’s cultures as the inspiration. Collections from Bateeq are sharing about a slower environment and pace, simpler lifestyle and family bonding; Raegitazoro is presenting the ideas of Indonesia politic with the army look of dark olive green and midnight blue colours, combined with the sense of neon colours; and SAUL with their edgy collections for modern woman in 1970’s fashion style,” said Halina as Senayan City Leasing & Marketing Communication Director.

 

“IN.MIND” DESAINER

BATEEQ

Under CEO and Creative Director, Michelle Tjokrosaputro, Bateeq presents the latest Collection entitled ‘Kampong’. Taking the inspiration from the perception of provincial life, where the pace is slower and the lifestyle is simpler in a more harmonious and peaceful environment and people are content with the company of family. The show features two motifs: Nandur Pari with using the repeated pattern comes from Gringsing batik – which stands for balance, fertility and prosperity, and Parang represents the belief in one’s consistent efforts of self-improvement; to maintain the relationship between humans themselves, nature, and God. Saskara comes from the Sanskrit word for 'purity' which uses Truntum batik - a symbol for sincere, unconditional, and eternal love and the Kawung component stands for the hope that people always remain grounded and connected to their roots.

Environmentally-friendly are applied through the use of Bemberg and Tencel fibers. The pieces feature several shades of earth-tone colors (sand-brown, khaki-green) and blue jeans, also others fabrics include modal and polyester. Bib or bib-like details, pleats and ruffles represent naiveté and innocence; contrasting fabrics and patterns imitate the free-spiritedness and playfulness of children. Although the styling gives an impression of casual and effortless dress, the clothes are designed to be multipurpose and suitable for different occasions.

 

RAEGITAZORO

Starting with the thoughts of optimism Indonesian politic on 2019, Raegitazoro creates a collection called ‘SQUAD’ with the domination of cotton garment in dark olive green and midnight blue tone colors which represent the toughness and brave of an army, and wrapped up with the cheerful tone colors such as pink and neon green. SQUAD is expecting that through fashion, the wearer can be brave to face the challenges like a soldier and keep the exciting pleasure like a cheerleader at the same time.

 

SAUL

Fashion theme of 1970s is brought back by SAUL on ‘FAITH’ collection. SAUL plays with the exciting and fun era of fashion at early 1970s with combination of modern and hippie style. The usual identity of masculine from SAUL is visible in the minimalist and bell-bottoms style with the using of monochromatic colors with hint colors of yellow and light brown.
