Jakarta, August 24, 2017 – In conjunction with the biggest fashion event in Southeast Asia which will be held on this upcoming October 2017, Jakarta Fashion Week (JFW) 2018, Senayan City and JFW present #BLCKVNUE X Fashionlink in collaboration with Fabelio. This new concept store also collaborates with more partners.
Located at premium area, 1st floor Senayan City, this new location is spacious than the previous pop up store with total area 430 m2. Divided into 5 fashion style zone, they are Luxury, Premium, Quirky, Modest and Accessories, #BLCKVNUE X Fashionlink in collaboration with Fabelio offers a modern and unique concept of specialty stores that’s dominantly decorated with wood that offers warm feeling, yet still with modern touch.
Lines of designers who display their collections are alex[a]lexa, Andhita Siswandi, Batik Chic, Bateeq, BYO, Day and Night, Ellyhan Jewelry, I.K.Y.K, JENAHARA, Jii by Gloria Agatha, Milcah, Monday to Sunday, Paulina Katarina, Rani Hatta, Shot at Velvet, SOE Jakarta and also designer and IFF label from 6th generation such as ATS The Label, Kami Idea, Mazuki, PVRA, Reves Studio and Vivian Lee.
Apart from the IFF designer and label, #BLCKVNUE x FASHIONLINK in collaboration with Fabelio also provide facilities for fashion people to collect accessories and clothing from the non IFF designers, they are Kyra Bags, Laison by Aurelia, Lene Studio, Maryalle, Natalia Kiantoro and Saul. The whole collection was curated by JFW.
Director of JFW Lenny Tedja said Fashionlink was established to engage designers with business-to-business or business-to-customer approach.
“IFF program trained the designers to develop their business, both in the local and International market. Hopefully this pop-up store can facilitate Indonesian designer to enjoy collections from Indonesian designers for both clothing and accessories,” Lenny said. “And also, it is a great opportunity to be able to work with partners whom having the same vision and mission, Senayan City, Fabelio, and our new partner, PT. Mainetti Packaging Solution and Visual Merchandising Indonesia.”
Having support from more partners, hopefully this pop-up store will be able to boost the local market to accept local designer creations and to unlock the path for the national fashion retail industry.
Marketing Director Senayan City Halina said, “Indonesia has more young designers who need space to display their creativity. Slightly different from the previous pop-up store before, Senayan City facilitate this program by giving more spacious location in the premium area 1st floor which have high traffic to accommodate ready to wear collection and accessories from 27 designers and Indonesian local brand.”
Lenny added “In fact, there will be possibilities that there will be more local brand and designers join at the #BLCKVNUE x Fashionlink in collaboration with Fabelio”.
Halina added, “With this pop-up store, we also want to share our knowledge and experience in retail business, so all designers can develop their creativity and have a proper knowledge professionally in fashion industry”.
