SENAYAN CITY FASHION NATION ELEVENTH EDITION (6 – 15 APRIL 2017)

Jakarta, April 6, 2017 – For the eleventh years being a trendsetter for holding a fashion gala event in Jakarta, Senayan City is back on its annual fashion event renowned as Fashion Nation Eleventh Edition (FNXI) on April 6-16, 2017. FNXI showcase a spectacle of prominent designers on the opening night that fused in theme “NOUVEAU”. Lines of designers are Andreas Odang, Sapto Djojokartiko, and Yogie Pratama who wil be showcasing their exclusive collection on FNXI runway show. Attend on the opening night CEO Senayan City Veri Y. Setiady accompanied by Center Director Senayan City Ronald Lim at Main Atrium, 1^st floor on Thursday (6/4).

“Fashion Nation is an Senayan City’s annual program as a part of our consistency to support Indonesia’s fashion industry. This year’s theme ‘Nouveau’ stood for the beginning of a new decade, in the form of fashion innovations. Nouveau is an illustration that described there will be so much of new things to come in Senayan City aligned with its eleventh years of Anniversary in order to deliver Senayan City as the most favorite shopping mall not only in Indonesia but also in Asia Pacific. Another meaning that stands for NOUVEAU is all about the collection on tonight’s runway from the main designers. Showcasing a high end ready-to-wear and elegant evening collection presented by Andreas Odang, Sapto Djojokartiko, and Yogie Pratama exclusively for Senayan City FNXI. The elegance of the runway stage on the opening night is promoted by the presence of Izabel Jahja as tonight’s host”, Veri said.

Andreas Odang

Documents of Old photographs taken from various region in Asia such as Indonesia, Indochine, and Orient has inspire Andreas Odang with his collection entitled La Mémoire which exploring to combine classic and feminine with eclectic laden culture. 15 beautiful looks with typed demi-couture (the collection that made out with technique and couture principle) tinged in warm colors, dark, and tend to muted colors acquired at old photographs as dim gold, dark red, green, turmeric, and brown. A woven fabrics from Cita Tenun Indonesia were incorporated with modern fabric such as organza, duchess, jacquard, and taffeta to achieve modern yet wearable looks.

Sapto Djojokartiko

On Senayan City FNXI’s runway, Sapto comes in Fall/Winter Collection 2017. Black dominated the color scheme completed with Sapto’s unique finishing. His collection comprised of 15 elegant evening wear designed in luxurious fabrics.

Yogie Pratama

“Scarlet” is the theme for runway collection of Yogie Pratama on Senayan City FNXI. The whole collection of elegant evening-wear appeared in red. His collection is aimed to describing the career journey of Yogie Pratama itself.

Full Force Fashion – April 8, 2017

As an effort to support Senayan City’s fashion brands in FNXI fashion runway gala, called Sports-Born & Street Fashion, Full Force Fashion will take place on FNXI runway stage Main Atrium 1^st floor at 6 pm. Participated brands are Fashionlink X #BLCKVNUE (Batik Chic, Day and Night, Paulina Katarina), Fisik Football, Lorna Jane, ODD, dan Under Armour.

The Iconic Women, April 12, 2017

For the second year, Senayan City in collaboration with Iwan Tirta Private Collection (ITPC) giving an appreciations to modern Kartini on The Iconic Women. These appreciations will deliver to 21 women for their active, inspirations and social contributions in their respective professions. In addition, their role as a mother with beautiful and talented daughter. The modern Kartini’s will be presented wearing collections from ITPC entitle “Sigaraning Nyawa” in collaboration with Era Soekamto as Creative Director ITPC and Indonesian accessories designer Rinaldy A. Yunardi on April 12, 2017 at Main Atrium, 1^st floor from 04.00 pm.

Runway Hits, April 15 2017

The sixth Runway Hits will be back with the Indonesian designers that into “the talk of the town” of fashion enthusiast in Jakarta. Ready to wear collections from Laison by Aurelia Santoso, No’om & No’mi, SOE Jakarta and William Utama would be shown at Main Atrium, 1^st floor on 07.00 pm. Not to be missed entertainment by Jevin Jullian and Rini Wulandari from Soundwave at Runway Hits stage

Style Makers Award 2017, April 15, 2017

Style Makers Award 2017 has a part of Runway Hits and also an awarding as appreciation from Senayan City to the most stylish icon in Indonesia who have contributed and leaving their marks in fashion industry. Categories for this year’s are The Most Stylish Female Celebrity, The Most Stylish Male Celebrity, The Most Stylish VIP, Most Stylish Model and a new category, Most Stylish Chef.

The Nest by Rinaldy A. Yunardi X Swarovski & The Visualist, April 6 – 15, 2017

INFICO and Swarovski initiate to create a design that using Swarovski in every masterpiece that made out from the famous designer. An installation from Indonesian accessories designer Rinaldy A. Yunardi and Swarovski collaboration entitled The Nest will exhibit along the FNXI at Main Lobby, Ground Floor. Not to be missed, an installation that colliding between fashion photography and fashion cinematography remarking the Senayan City Eleventh Anniversary that could be seen at Promenade, Ground Floor.

Daily Fashion Show Senayan City FNXI, 6 – 15 April 2017

Not to be missed in other fashion events within FNXI at Main Atrium, 1^st floor like the Digital Fashion Runway which features Zalia, I.K.Y.K, Kami Idea, Anniesa Hasibuan, Vivi Zubedi and Itang Yunasz. Following with a beauty talk show presented LT Pro, BE3, Love Is In The Air Concert by Cosmopolitan, Made Ind X Tangan, Road to Abang None Jakarta Pusat, ATS The Label, Nia Dinata X Lekat, Anugerah Perempuan Hebat, Teduh by Hakim Satrio, Calla Atelier, Love Bonito and Panasonic Beauty. In addition to the FNXI fashion installation, Senayan City with Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua showcasing an art installation entitled “Garden of Life” as commemoration of Easter on April. Inviting a respected Balinese Artist, Made Wianta, this bunnies and eggs installation interpreted from Easter that blending French Elegance with the local culture and demonstrates the universal concept of Eternal Life. This installation will start from April 3 – 16, 2017 and taking place at Promenade, ground floor.

Writing & Photo Competition 2017

To appreciate fellow media and journalist, every year, Senayan City held Senayan City Writing & Photo Competition 2017. This year, Senayan City adds up Blogger category for the participants. There is three categories such as Photo Category, Article Category, and Video Category. This competition is held in 2 seasons:
