Bringing outdoor elements indoors, the innovative approach provides consumers with a more tactile, immersive, and engaging retail experience, giving more outdoor context to their purchases. Consumers are first greeted when they enter the store with a bright “sky window” that reacts in real-time to changing weather patterns and features living outdoor imagery like moss, snow capped peaks, tree roots, and mountain ranges. The store layout is divided into outdoor activities, rather than by product range. Consumers are guided through the space based on a “live”, “train” and “explore” zoning approach.
The North Face newest campaign, Outdoor Training was introduced to Asian 2016 and instantly gained the widespread attention of outdoor and sports enthusiasts.
