Senayan City and UOB Indonesia held a free booster vaccination program to support the government's efforts to control COVID-19
3000 booster vaccines will be given from 26 to 28 January 2022
Jakarta, January 26, 2022 – Senayan City has consistently implemented strict health protocols in accordance with government recommendations. In the second year of collaboration with UOB Indonesia, Senayan City facilitated the distribution of 3,000 Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccine boosters for free. The implementation of this vaccine booster will be held from 26 to 28 January 2022, starting at 09.00 – 16.00 WIB at The Hall, Senayan City, 8th floor. The previous year, Senayan City and UOB Indonesia had facilitated more than 4,000 first and second doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine to the general public.
Halina, Leasing & Marketing Communication Director Senayan City said, “Senayan City continues to support the Government's programs in an effort to make Indonesia healthy and free from Covid-19. In collaboration with UOB Indonesia for the second time, Senayan City also facilitates and assists the DKI Jakarta Government in distributing vaccine boosters for the general public free of charge. This program is expected to make it easier for the public to obtain vaccine boosters more comfortably. In addition, we also hope that this vaccine booster can help break the COVID-19 chain in Indonesia and remind the public to continue to carry out health protocols in accordance with Government recommendations”
Maya Rizano, Head of Strategic Communications and Brand, UOB Indonesia said, "In the midst of the widespread transmission of the Omicron variant, we hope that collaboration with Senayan City can help more people to increase their immunity and be protected from the spread of the virus. We also invite UOB Indonesia colleagues to participate in the implementation of this vaccination. We believe that the joint efforts of the private sector in supporting the government's mission will help the community return to carrying out daily activities which is also expected to have an impact on the national economic recovery."
According to data from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia1, more than 180 million Indonesians have received the first dose of vaccine, while more than 123 million of them have received the second complete dose of vaccination. However, there has been an increasing trend of positive cases of COVID-19 in Indonesia since the turn of 2022. Daily positive cases have reached more than 2,000 cases, including in DKI Jakarta. Therefore, it is a priority that booster vaccinations can be immediately rolled out at various vaccination centers to protect the public from the serious impact of COVID-19.”
In collaboration with Husada Hospital, Senayan City, and UOB Indonesia, the vaccine booster will be distributed to the general public with the following requirements:
To facilitate the implementation of this vaccine booster, the public is required to register in advance via an electronic form: http://vaksin.senayancity.com . Those who have filled out the form completely will receive a confirmation email from Senayan City and must come according to the schedule that has been chosen. Senayan City does not serve walk-ins or people who are not registered via an electronic form.
