360º Stitching
Camper presents 360º stitching, a technique of making shoes that requires the skill of the craftsman. This process unites the leather of the upper directly to the sole, minimizing the use of glues and noticeably improving flexibility. The end result is an extremely comfortable, long-lasting shoe.
Brothers Impala, a manually stitched shoe, using the same 360º technique. The hollow rubber sole gives volume while keeping weight low and abrasion resistance. It includes a Cellular Urethane sponge tocushion and a 12 mm weist that provides added height and comfort while cushioning the impact of walking. A line that in summer 2010 offers extremely soft leathers in both the red Mary Jane's and the white ankle boots with geometrical perforations for women, and in the masculine version, a shoe made from very thin leather with no lining.
* Craft is the ability to create or produce something with care and skill. Extraordinary is the result of many years of researching, thinking, racking our Majorcan brains for anything that might lend a touch of creativity, personality and style to something as simple and commonplace as a pair of shoes. So today we are proud to introduce this perfect fusion of technology and design, which from now on will be known as - Extraordinary Crafts.

Nike today introduced the Nike LunarGlide+, a new running shoe designed with an innovative mid-sole architecture called Dynamic Support, a patent-pending system that adapts to a runner’s gait with each step, providing superior cushioning and as-needed stability.
“Runners traditionally had to choose between stability or cushioning shoes based on their foot strike,” said Leslie Lane, Global Vice President and General Manager for Nike Running. “Now, runners can choose a single shoe that will respond to all of their needs, even adjusting on the fly during a run.”
Dynamic Support
The new Dynamic Support system shatters the myth that runners must compromise by selecting between two industry-standard categories: stability or cushioning. The Dynamic Support system in the Nike LunarGlide+ midsole combines the best of both. It is designed with the two-part LunarLite cushioning system which incorporates a lightweight foam core that sits within a firmer foam carrier and features an encapsulated rear-foot wedge to provide as-needed support.
The shoe also has soft, yet strong microfiber synthetic overlays ultrasonically welded into place for seam-free comfort. A high-resilience men’s and women’s-specific foam sockliner also creates a foot-bed with exceptional step-in feel and added support.
LunarLite System
Nike first introduced LunarLite in the summer of 2008 in Beijing as the mid-sole cushioning system in the Nike LunaRacer+ and Nike LunarTrainer+ running shoes. Traditional cushioning systems only absorb energy upon impact. LunarLite has proven to provide superior cushioning and significant energy return. The LunarLite System in the Nike LunarGlide+ creates a trampoline effect as the softer foam core is contained by the firmer foam carrier upon impact.
Flywire Technology
The Nike LunarGlide+ incorporates another Beijing innovation: Flywire technology. The integration of Flywire threads into the upper design of shoes from a variety of sports including running, basketball and tennis, has allowed Nike designers to shed unprecedented amounts of weight without losing necessary support or stability.
The use of LunarLite in the midsole and Flywire in the upper allow for a dramatic reduction in weight compared to typical daily distance running shoes. The men’s LunarGlide+ weighs just 10.6 oz. while the women’s weighs a mere 8.6 oz.
The Women’s Nike LunarGlide+
The Nike LunarGlide+ will be available globally beginning July 1, 2009 with a
suggested retail price of $100 USD. For more information, please go to www.nikerunning.com.
Sometime in 1971 Stressless furniture introduced the first recliner that was designed to meet your body's needs in the way of support and movement when seated. It became an international success from it's charachteristics, as the recliner was a revolution for Stressless furniture in comfort and functionality. Due to two patented features this recliner is the only one of its kind in the market and is regarded as the ultimate recliner. It is separated by two systems, one being the glide that follows your every movement and the other looking at correct neck and lumbar support known as the plus system.
Having been founded in Norway, by 1980 sales exceeded 100 million (Norwegian Kroner) due to an unconditional success of the comfort the product supplied, and by 1981 the wooden base was introduced as the first model with this characteristic, making it known as the Stressless furniture Royal Recliner. This recliner is still one of the best sellers in the market today. Next came the launch of the patented plus system in 1991, a whole decade later. In this time Ekornes had grown to an international market and been awarded several prizes including the Norwegian Export Prize. The patented plus system consolidated its position as the most comfortable swivel recliner. This was mainly due to it's pioneering automatic adjustment of the lumbar support and headrest, making it the first chair that people could watch tv and read whilst leaning back.
1993 saw the launch of the Stressless sofa based on the idea that people need to be able to move individually just as much when sitting in a sofa as in a recliner. By 1996 this idea was then rolled out using the same design in two or three different sizes. It became known as a sofa that took into account comfortability for all people no matter their shape or their size. The next milestone came in 1999 when the company decided to enhance the plus system and add an extension known today as the sleep function. This mechanism added to the headrest enabled the user to choose where the headrest would be positioned, yet again this was a pioneering innovation and it all started with Stressless furniture.
In order to move the company forward in 2001, the Ekornes Collection, and indeed Stressless, realised that matching designs creates new opportunities and therefore this idea began to be produced. By combining fixed back features and reclining in an integrated layer the idea hit worldwide and sales exceeded 1 Billion (Norwegian kroner) Due to this success, in 2003 the company launched a tailor made home theatre and in 2004, with a brand new factory which today is one of the most modern furniture factories in the world and a re-design of the logo, new branding was rolled out. Also at this time, Stressless Furniture, production capacity increased substantially through advanced use of robotics. 2005 saw the introduction of Stressless paradise, the first low back sofa with all the trademark features. At the same time a roomy and comfortable corner solution known as Ekornes fairy tale was launched and both products became popular worldwide.
