For the second time, Senayan City has again become an extension for donors to share their concerns with taxi drivers in the Senayan area. Calling themselves Hak Asasi Perut or HAP, a group of young lawyers is moving to raise funds and distribute it in the form of nine-basic necessities to fellow taxi drivers who were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in the Take Action Together “INFINITE KINDNESSS” program on Friday, May 8, 2020.
This social activity is also synchronizing with DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Program to support the Large Scale Social Collaboration (KSBB) program. Also present in the area, Mr. Irwandi as Deputy Mayor of Central Jakarta, who distributed food packages and meals for taxi drivers.
“Senayan City runs the Take Action Together program with the aim to share with taxi drivers who do not have the opportunity to work from home and are still loyal to become the transportation for Senayan City’s customers. Continuing from the success of Senayan City on April 27th, which has distributed 400 packages of nine-basic necessities to taxi drivers around Senayan with @SuperSillyChef, Senayan City was again contacted by another donors to support the Take Action Together movement,” said Jaclyn Halim, as Leasing & Marketing Communications GM of Senayan City.
Rio Pasaribu, who is one of the movers of HAP, talked about this donation. “My colleagues and I feel sympathy when we see taxi drivers who cannot operate as optimally, moreover we as young lawyers remember that many taxi drivers have contributed to the professions we are involved in. We raised funds through Kitabisa.com and got a very good response, so in a short time the donations could collect more than 178 million Rupiah. We distribute these donations in the form of basic necessities and meal to break the fast by cooperating with Senayan City as a place for distribution, KUY entertainment as the documentation and publication team, as well as donors and other vendor partners who contribute. We donated this donation directly to taxi drivers on May 8, 2020 with a total of 888 packages and 1440 food packages breaking the fast.”
Since noon, the taxi fleet filled the Senayan City area and was neatly recorded. The distribution of donations is carried out by continuing to implement the Large Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) system such as maintaining a safe distance between officers, the use of masks to handover with the Drive-Thru system with vehicles entering the lanes that have been provided in the North Lobby area of Senayan City.
Distribution with a total of 888 food packages to be distributed starting at 15.00 WIB at the North Lobby of Senayan City, containing 5kg of rice, 2L of oil, 1kg of flour, tea and coffee, syrup, sardine 155g, 200g margarine, sweetened thick cream, instant noodles, healthy supplement, cloth mask, and 1 pack of frozen food. This donation was realized with the support of various parties such as Deltomed, Jiva Care, KFC, Kibif Group, Kitabisa.com and Lalamove.
Through the Take Action Together program “INFINITE KINDNESSS” can help reduce the burden of taxi drivers who do not get the opportunity for #WorkAtHome. Senayan City also urges people to maintain their health and hope that this condition will be conducive as soon as possible. Stay safe and healthy!
