Jakarta, September 29, 2017 – The lagging of infrastructure these days is constraint to create homogeneous national economic development. Unfinished infrastructure project, that caused by funding problems or land acquisition and bureaucracy, seemed like the being part of Indonesia history related to the infrastructure itself.
Infrastructure problems recently start to find its way along with political will by the government to end up all the bureaucracy obstacles and disseminate strategic project, including the projects that has long planned but never been done. These achievements area what our government tried to communicates through “Menjelajah Infrastruktur Indonesia 2015 – 2017” photo exhibition that will held from October – December 2017 in Jabodetabek, Bandung, Medan, and Makassar.
“The society tends to be skeptical when talking about our infrastructure, because there are so many projects that take too long time to be done or even unfinished. This photo exhibition is one of ways for us to communicate to disseminate the comprehensive description about infrastructure progress that impact directly to economic development. Photo exhibition chosen as the communication tool because picture talks more than words,” said Teten Masduki, Kepala Staf Kepresidenan Indonesia.
Photo exhibition holds at 10 venue/malls for 5 days per venue and takes place in Senayan City from September 27 – October 1, 2017. The exhibition is not only presenting the work of participants that has been curated with theme and category, but also presenting digital pictures that submitted from social media community.
Showcased photos also group in some of the theme with narration each photos are informative and attractive for visitors. One photo talked about infrastructure development that located outside the island and borderland entitled “Gerbang Indonesia”. Another photo also talked about airport photo entitled “Menghubungkan Indonesia”, highway development photo entitled “Penurunan Biaya Logistik”, railway development includes in Kalimantan, modern port to strengthen Indonesia position as an international logistic hub, and photos MRT & LRT development as mass transportation system. Not to be missed infrastructure development photos in agriculture and foodstuff and also in electricity. Most excited of all, on this exhibition also showcase the development of the awaited Trans Papua.
Visitors also can join numbers of interactive activities start from selfie at the photo wall, kinetic games in “Jelajah Infrastruktur Nusantara Games”, “Dimanakah Aku (floor interactive) game, and interactive quiz (touch screen) for adult visitor for data collection and survey simultaneously”
